Within the Dutch public transportation system, around 5000 buses are still powered by combustion engines. Dutch government has aimed at reducing emissions by 14% by the year 2020. In order to contribute to the government’s plans towards a greener environment, Zero Emission Bus Transportation has been founded.
The foundation’s goal is to provide green and affordable public transport, without the extra costs that are normally involved. By the end of 2025, all buses within public transport are supposed to be electronically powered.
Zero Emission Bus Transportation will organize a workshop, where Logena will participate actively by sharing knowledge on soft- and hardware issues.
